Summerschools 2010
With the summer holidays fast approaching, I am in preparation for my summer schools - check out the links on the educator tab. There are still places left on the International Saxophone Summer School, (www.summermusic.org.uk) in Woldingham, Surrey - such a beautiful setting for a relaxed and informal week of music making. (I know these courses can be expensive at first glance, but with accommodation and food included, and all the concerts in the evenings, and the long days of workshops, lessons, coaching and ensembles, they really are the perfect way to give your playing a real boost, and to meet some likeminded musicians into the bargain). There may be bursaries still available if you are finding it hard to get the funds together...just email the course directly to see if you qualify. The Harrogate Saxophone Course (www.windstruments.co.uk/events/ClarSax/index.cfm) is booking up fast, but still has places - a much more ensemble based course, for those of you who want to play play play! Again, follow the link in the educator tab. I hope to see some of you on these courses over the summer.
